أعلنت ميتا عن الإصدار الثاني من نموذجها Segment Anything Model (SAM) لتقسيم الصور: SAM2، والذي يدعم الآن تقسيم الأشياء في الصور والفيديو.

تقسيم الصور من المجالات المهمة في رؤية الحاسب، ولها العديد من التطبيقات في المجالات الصناعية والطبية والزراعية، وغيرها. يستطيع النموذج SAM 2 تقسيم أي شيء في الصور والفيديو، حتى الأشياء والمجالات التي لم يشاهدها من قبل دون الحاجة إلى إعادة التدريب على صور وفيديوهات مخصصة.

الجميل أن كود وأوزان النموذج SAM 2 متاحة تحت رخصة Apache 2.0 المتساهلة.

كما تم الإعلان عن مجموعة البيانات SA-V، التي تحتوي على 4.5 أضعاف عدد الفيديوهات و53 ضعفاً من التسميات مقارنةً بأكبر مجموعة بيانات لتجزئة الفيديو حالياً. وتتكون مجموعة البيانات هذه من حوالي 51,000 فيديو وأكثر من 600,000 قناع زمني مكاني، وهي متاحة تحت رخصة CC BY 4.0.
