@william_lou But so did kawhi. He took the extra money through the super secret side deal. Don’t see how he gets off Scott free, which at best means a long suspension and at worst, a terminated contract and a long suspension. If that happens, the Raps don’t have the cap space to sign him.
@kristen_shilton@wick_22 Not sure why it’s such a head scratcher. New leadership always has its own ideas about organizational structure and key personnel. It doesn’t mean the people let go aren’t good people. They just may not fit the organizational structure the leadership wants.
@AndrewMarchand It’s an obvious answer. Red cards are given all the time. People often have different opinions about whether the red is justified or not. The team and its supporters almost never think it is. The reality is there is no process or precedent for this type of review, bad call or not
@Daniel_Rapaport Maybe your President putting his finger on the scale to give you an unprecedented advantage wasn’t as motivating and inspiring as you might have thought.
@JoePompliano You think this is the first time anyone has been the victim of an incorrect call? Everyone deals with it. Every team has suffered to it. But not the U.S. They are special. The rules everyone else lives by don’t apply to the U.S. It’s such bullshit. To recap.
@TheFourthPeriod Why won’t it be enough for one year of Gauthier? He has no arbitration rights and cannot be signed to an offer sheet. $10M is more than enough on a one year deal.
@NylanderForHart I don’t know. That 1st round pick has some value and Villeneuve is a decent young prospect. Wright isn’t more than a 3rd liner. Not sure why anyone would give up much for home
@SamAMcKee I assume it was not up to him. His club was pretty angry at Canada about how prior injuries were handled by the national team and word was that Bayern called the shots on when or if Davies would be allowed to play.
