@EveHart@HannahAlOthman If it helps, we've found these under carpet tiles and screed. Also the 1970's milk cartons and cigarette packets left in the cavity under the floor.
I didn't even know this Measurements consultation was taking place.
(No option for metric only!)
It must be one of the Peopleβs Priorities. π
Donβt let Mogg get away with a return to imperial measurements by default. Tell them no. It closes on the 26th. https://t.co/zy75ihH0mp
@davidschneider Don't forget the 'have your Birthday off work' govt promotion too. My other half works 10hr shifts (as will many front line workers) but has been given 7.5 hrs extra leave, so it's '3/4 of your birthday off' really.
@rachelparris They didn't run out, they just downgraded the requirement to whatever they had left. Full mask, surgical mask, just breath through your nose and keep the window open...
@JamesMelville Considering the open debate I followed for, I'm surprised at the amount of biased 'research' shared.
Taiwan, look no restrictions. AIER
Taiwan, early and strict border control, ban foreign visitors, mandatory quarantine on returning home. BBC
No virus cases = No lockdown.
@sharronb1863 @UteriSpinning @Jaimi_Shrive @Pulpy_Milk Kudos both on a really civil discussion. Fascinating that a thread on consent became dominated by the definition of "enthusiasm". FRIES model is interesting (and sensible). Consent needn't be the "TV presenter" level or clothes tearing enthusiasm, but notably not reluctant.
@rosiejones665 It's how it should have been from the start. My brother's in NZ, you pay to quarantine after a holiday and their lock down actually was.
They've got almost 0 cases, a low number of deaths. They went out for dinner and had friends come over at Christmas. I know my preference.
@jamesrbuk ... But last week Dominic Raab said (on BBC news) that stockpiling was a normal part of the supermarket business? π€

.@BBCBreakfast: Tesco says No-Deal Brexit will increase food prices by 5%.
Dominic Raab: "I'm not concerned about supermarket shelves running bare or the cost of food prices".
We all want fair play in elections - but these plans will weaken the Electoral Commission and make it easier to distort democracy. I've signed @unlockdemocracy's petition to put democracy before party interest.

This is the most chilling explanation of what Brexit will do to the UK economy after December.

Woke up a slight sore throat so thought I'd do the right thing & get a Covid test. Official https://t.co/E10xnwZVjr website now demanding I share my information with an American Credit Check Company.
No way that's good news.
