The Israel-Palestine conflict will not be resolved through bombs, guns, and rockets. As the old maxim goes, “violence begets violence.” Hence, we need a culture of nonviolence. Who will commit themselves to it? Here is some food for thought from an interview on Capitol Hill with Voice of America Spanish (@VozdeAmerica) during the launch of the Voices For Peace initiative.
American media coverage of a #voicesofpeace event in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania which called for a ceasefire in Gaza.
The #voicesforpeace campaign is a global initiative by the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community, guided by His Holiness Hazrat Mirza Masroor Ahmad, to bring about peace in Gaza and stop the war from spreading.

@CraigCons Thank you for attending! We’re holding this event at the Pennsylvania State Capitol in Harrisburg (2-4pm, Dec 11) too. Would love to see esteemed guests like you there too!
I spoke on Capitol Hill in Washington, D.C. as part of “Voices For Peace,” a new Ahmadiyya Muslim Community U.S.A. initiative on de-escalating the Hamas-Israel War and finding a lasting peace between Palestinians and Israelis. I focused on non-violence, rationality, and peace-building. Other speakers included Karim Khan (@KarimKhanQC), the Chief Prosecutor of the International Criminal Court (I.C.C.), The Honorable Jim McGovern (@RepMcGovern), a Democrat in the U.S. House of Representatives, and Imam Azhar Haneef (@ImamAMCUSA), the national Vice President of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community U.S.A. A video of my speech will be available tomorrow.

Dr. @CraigCons quotes President JFK: "Peace is the necessary rational end for rational men."
He adds that to be nonviolent is to be rational, which will lead to peace.
"We have to start getting serious about peace. And it genuinely starts when we stop killing one another.”
