@monjasper10101@HillF1 As I said, we can discuss T1 and T2, Max attacked, rules are pretty simple on where you have to be to claim the corner, Lewis went wide in T1, max went wide in T2... but that will never give you the freedom to skip a corner because you feel ilegally overtaken in the one before.
@notracingpoint@notracingpoint As hyped as I am for HAM moving to Ferrari, if this season is as close as predicted, being flawless is key. Hamilton in his latter WDC years was near perfection. Since 2021, only VER has matched Hamilton’s 2020 level of faultlessness. So I think it will be Max.
@crankie_fosmos @DRShezza As a long time Dutch race fan I have always hated the ridiculous bias from Ziggo. Far from professional. I got F1TV and listened the Sky audio. But they completely lost their professionalism at Silverstone 2021.
@VanGamerenF1 Dit is helemaal volgens afspraak na 2014. Geen tractor meer op de baan zonder VSC of SC. Dat Gasly op race snelheid doorblaast achter de safety car langs een dubbele gele vlag is zijn fout.
@f1lmer@F1_Jordan I think that if you would've asked this question one year ago (without knowing which driver was in which position) almost everyone would have chosen the Abu Dhabi solution over the Monza solution. But a red flag + parc fermé in the last 10 laps could be a pretty fair solution.
@adamcooperF1 I’ve been a long time fan of F1. Have been following you for years. I get your point about the new Dutch F1 fans. But at least 1 out of 50 would recognise Newey and drunkly scream something positive. Which would make the rest of them celebrate his part on Max’s success. I call BS
@Yopsicles@wtf1official The first ones could have gone trough. But not all eight. And I believe they don't have to. But do you agree that Masi had an almost impossible set of decisions to take?
@Yopsicles@wtf1official Send the message, yes. Unlap all 8, no. But I think they don't need to. (Would be a weirdly strong position to stall). My point is, that this was such a complex situation, Masi was always going to be blamed by the party that lost. Even with the benefit of hind sight.
@Yopsicles@wtf1official A couple of seconds later, with still 9 seconds to go before the safety car starts lap 57, the marshals are over the guardrail.
@juju_f1_ @HillF1 At exactly this moment, Hamilton calls “there is still debris out there”. This is also the excact moment the marshals jump over the rail. And the very last moment lapped cars could be legaly sent through. Hamilton stalled the procedure.
@HillF1 What I don’t really understand is how it damaged Lewis. Everyone agrees that a finish under green is preferred. And everyone agrees that lapped cars should overtake. They were to late with that. But if they weren’t, Lewis would still be on the wrong strategy…
@SyedShabih2 @hansmach0165@GameRiotArmy @abkozweverink @HillF1 Nope, both times he could have pitted. Both times it would have cost him track position though…
@Morfino1@SkySportsF1 Yep! Since the Silverstone lap1 crash they've shown their true colors. @MBrundleF1 and @CroftyF1 clearly trying not to blame Lewis (but accidentally saying to expect a 10s-stop-go-penalty) and then celebrate his win like he didn't eliminate his only opponent...
@MerlijnSPhoto Yes you can see the braking. The last (almost) vertical blue line before the moment of impact (orange line) is verstappen hits the brakes 100%. But this graph does not show how much pressure is on the pedal. Stewards seem to have that info. And RB does not dispute it...
