The 1st COVID-19+ case in Sorsogon is Romegio C. Cruz, a 37 y/o seafarer from Miami, Florida who, upon arrival, was quarantined at the Matnog Quarantine Facility. He was later transfered to the COVID-19 Ward of the Sorsogon Provincial Hospital. He is asymptomatic & is doing fine.

Why was Taiwan included in the travel ban? It is clearly separate & distinct from mainland China & is similarly situated in relation to other countries with CORVID-19. Is the basis for political rather than for health reasons? Its just unfair to a lot of Filipinos in Taiwan.
