A good software engineer gets comfortable with being uncomfortable.
New codebase. New technology. New bug.
You wonโt always know the answer immediately. What matters is your ability to break the problem down and figure it out.
Thatโs where you grow. ๐ป๐
One pain of being a software engineer:
You struggle, debug for hours, finally get everything working, and close your laptop feeling like you conquered the world.
Next morning: ERROR. ๐
Same code. You changed nothing.
Welcome to software engineering. ๐๐ป
Software development is not just "write code and deploy." You're constantly learning new tools, debugging things you've never seen, and sometimes learning while the deadline is counting down.
The ability to keep learning while delivering is honestly becoming part of the job.
Stop arguing about which programming language is the best
Java vs C++.
Python vs JavaScript.
PHP vs everything.
As a developer who has worked with different languages, my advice to beginners is simple:
Pick one. Learn it deeply. Build real projects. Solve real problems.
As an experienced Engineer I often tell people that Writing code is one of the basic part of being a Software Engineer, what makes you an engineer is your ability to solve problems using those codes, the code is a tool not necessarily a solution.
@realyobarnub Speak for yourself chief,
Stop using you people, your friend has 10 times the price of your phone in his account and heโs using infinix, you don have that much and you bought an expensive phone.
Na you need the advice pass.
