Stoke City football club, Lancashire and Hampshire cricket clubs. All things cricket,prog rock music,skiing,dogs,stocks and shares.......and golf!

[Chris Adams @grizz598]

Stats can often mislead but every now and then they tell the full story ….. Hampshire batting points 4 out of a possible 80 …. That is a wow stat. Unforgivable and that is down to the direct coaching not just the batting unit imho 🙏🏻

[Nigel johnson @nigelblueprint]

@stevehinders1 @ItsGrahamParker Gutted i couldnt make this tour. Come back next year with the Goldtops please!!

[Nigel johnson @nigelblueprint]

@MichaelVaughan Hampshire deserved their turn after helping out ECB during Covid and developing a modern ground (demanded by ECB). I love Headingly but it needs modernising. I was up there this summer and it was busy and cramped.

[Nigel johnson @nigelblueprint]

@BillyCrawford05 @em_john You have one powerhouse nation who has almost complete control over what happens next

[Nigel johnson @nigelblueprint]

@Manzurshaban123 Fred Titmus. I think he played in 5 successive decades from memory. From the 50s

[Nigel johnson @nigelblueprint]

@BBCStokeSport @stokecity With strange irony Nigel, i have the same christian name and sir name as you and i am also retiring!! I am also a stokie since 1963. All the best!

[Nigel johnson @nigelblueprint]

@BBCStokeSport @stokecity Good luck Nigel

[Nigel johnson @nigelblueprint]

@cricket_badger Very nicely but

[Nigel johnson @nigelblueprint]

@cricket_badger I think Strauss has let down the cricket traditionalists. He says it all bery nicely nut to me its a cruel shafting

[Nigel johnson @nigelblueprint]

@soulshoes1 I was there too. Superb night

[Nigel johnson @nigelblueprint]

@BBCLauraKT Try and be neutral please. Its unhelpful

[Nigel johnson @nigelblueprint]

@BBCLauraKT Hopefully we can drastically cut back the BBC and get rid of sarcastic and cynical overpaid people like you

[Nigel johnson @nigelblueprint]

@Lord_Sugar It was a stupid mistake. Poorly thought out

[MOIL @Moilgas]

#ANGS

2.5p paid a couple of minutes ago. Not much stock around as the holders know this winter will be very rewarding for Angus!

A few profit takers for now but we should tag 2.5p again this morning and move up.

RNS sends this to 3p easy!

[Nigel johnson @nigelblueprint]

@bbctms @BBCiPlayer Wow

[Nigel johnson @nigelblueprint]

@ItsGrahamParker Well GP, we are much looking forward to your next UK tour. I have also suggested to Wickham festival that they contact you.

[Nigel johnson @nigelblueprint]

So embarrassing having to watch Tiger Woods struggling around St Andrews golf course. Presumably American tv money insists on watching this old hacker

[Nigel johnson @nigelblueprint]

@izzywestbury Settle down. Women’s cricket is in rude health. I think its already getting momentum, your rant is unnecessary and frankly irritating

[Mike Selvey #StandWithUkraine @selvecricket]

Hendren scored 25597 runs at Lord's, more than anyone .
Hearne 1739 wickets there, more than anyone.
I believe the East Gate should be Hendren Gate and the Pavilion should, appropriately , have the JT Hearne Bowlers Bar.
Who is with me on this ? Middlesex and MCC members ?

[Nigel johnson @nigelblueprint]

@came_peter Good luck Harry
