God is my Witness & Judge
Psalms 34:19
The righteous person may have many troubles, but the LORD delivers him from them all. Follower of the Protestant Faith.
Please repost to your followers and friends and ask your cleric on Sunday and your Bishops why a parishioner from Kilkenny is not being listened to to and no pastoral care nothing. Shame on the Church of Ireland. @rubytuesday566@impongo22@little_pengelly@JonBurrowsMLA@BartLad69 repost, retweet, return to accountability.
@churchofireland why is Bishop Adrian Wilkinson, Dean Stephen Farrell and Rev. William Burke, not providing any form of assistance or pastoral care? Shame on you all treating a member of your church with such silence and contempt, is this upholding the Christian mission of the Church?? #NoHomeNoHope. When I needed help you were all silent. I will not be silenced, I have a right to be heard.
@BigHilti1872@wackyj67 Condolences ๐ to all Beano's family and friends, at this time, God rest his soul, an accomplished playwright and of the arts.
Really interesting to see the pointscoring glee coming from Republican accounts over the vile actions of a convicted child predator. Some would say illuminating.
However. The DUP and Orange Order took decisive action immediately to expel a predator. Unlike the Republican Movement
Unlike other political parties with abusers in their midst, the DUP has done what it was supposed to do on the Jeffrey Donaldson case. They stood him down immediately once they became aware of the allegations against him, and they are standing by both victims now.
I know many people across Lagan Valley, and indeed across Northern Ireland, will be deeply shocked and horrified today. I know many of us are reeling from the despicable and vile criminal behaviour that has come to light during this case. I know many of us feel fundamentally betrayed.
Today is the day for the victims.
Today, I know our support and our thoughts will be with the victims of the appalling abuse. To have to go through a trial to get justice only adds to the trauma they have experienced. It takes a huge amount of courage for the victims of such abuse to come forward to pursue justice.
I have made tackling sexual abuse and violence against women and girls central to the work I do, that has been the case from the moment I took up this post and I will continue to do so.
Combating this terrible evil must be a priority for us all.
Today's verdict in the case involving former Lagan Valley MP Jeffrey Donaldson is a reminder that nobody should be above the law.
There are times when people understandably question whether justice applies equally to everyone. Today's outcome demonstrates that position, status and influence should offer no protection from accountability.
My thoughts are with the victims in this horrific case.
