Just in: Police are at home of Ronson Chan, head of @HKJA_Official and deputy editor of @StandNewsHK, with a court warrant for home search over the crime of “publishing seditious publications”. The live stream was too short to know more details, as police warned not to film.
In fear of low turnout in the upcoming patriots only election, the HK government chose to arrest put us on the wanted list rather than listen to the people. Pathetic.
The Hong Kong anti-corruption agency has put five politicians in exile on its wanted list for they urged others to boycott the Legislative Council election on Sunday. They are @SunnyCheungky@carmenkamanlau@TimothyLee_HK@NigelKWLee and @nathanlawkc

3/ Democratic allies worldwide and democratic institutes need to stop recognising the election and stop treating the newly elected lawmakers as official. We must boycott this Hong Kong LegCo election.
1/ I've talked about boycotting the HK LegCo election yesterday and here's why; the election system is fundamentally undemocratic and for "patriots" only, there is no mechanism to monitor the election process is open and fair.
2/ And the potentially low turnout will demonstrate Hongkongers do not want to legitimise the new election system. I believe the newly elected LegCo members are just merely the rubber stamp for the CCP.
In February, I wrote about the network of ppl and groups supporting #HongKong protesters and activists in prison. Seven months later, two groups are closing down. Wall Fare announced their closure today, they will stop delivering letters and supplies to inmates.

The 50th-anniversary of @UkTibetan, makes me think of the long journey of Tibetans. And now Hongkongers are just at the start of that.
Not only Tibetans but we HKers also have a responsibility to promote our identity and culture, and be good ambassadors of our people.
Thank you @VOANews, “I know it was a real luxury that I could choose to leave,” and now it's the time it is now our responsibility to speak up for Hong Kong. Everything that we do abroad are to making sure that we can safely return home one day.

NOW: @andy_is_missing & lawyer Chan Tsz-wah pleaded guilty to the charge of "conspiracy to collude with foreign forces to endanger national security". Andy Li was among the 12 Hong Kong youths who were detained in China for illegal border crossing.
#AndyLi turned 31 a few days ago. Behind bars.
Detained for 12 months now. Done nothing wrong. Back in court tomorrow for the latest chapter in his farcical “trial”.
#HongKong’s legal system has become little more than a tool of political persecution. #FreeAndyLi
“If the law is to be taken seriously, it could be a huge problem if banks in Hong Kong have to enforce US sanctions, and then face prosecution in Hong Kong for enforcing those sanctions,”

1/ The judgement of Tong Ying Kit v. HKSAR simply illustrates that there is no rule of law in HK anymore.
Tong was denied bail, as the courtestablished the denial of bail for those charged under the NSL as a new legal principle.
What are the consequences of the verdict of Tong Ying Kit’s case? First of all, it sets a dangerous precedent of unfair trial, given the pre-trial settings of designated judges by the Chief Executive, removal of jury trial and year-long pre-trial detention….
