Catching up with retail and gallery orders this week. I'll be adding the finishing touches to this fresh collection of hearts for Love the Lakes tomorrow 💙
A Happy Ending 🥳
I've finally removed the tea towel and finished my painting of 'Skiddaw from Braithwaite'. I pulled over on Saturday to take photos of this view and could only see a painting in purple, grey and gold. I love how it's evolved.

What a difference a frame makes ✨
I’ve been framing up my canvas boards this morning. It's amazing how the right frame changes everything, like creating a little window into the scene, and bringing these Lake District landscapes to life.

Fresh off the easel - 'Helvellyn across Thirlmere'.
This painting was inspired after a quiet walk along the shores of Thirlmere a few weeks ago. Sitting on a stone sketching the view, I really wanted to capture the light on the water 💙

I’ve just added a collection of ink works to my website. These are small paintings on canvas board, created outdoors, during my hikes or after swims, capturing the moment as it happens rather than from a photo in my studio.

I've added a few leaves to this one today as it was looking a bit wintry and cold. It's funny how a tiny rework makes such a difference. 'Blencathra from St John's in the Vale' 40x16" 💙💚

'Grasmere Daffodils'
Inspired after a walk up Silver How. This view of Helm Crag is along the footpath that takes you past Allen Bank, complete with daffodils, blossom and lambs who are 'up to no good' in the field below.

Morning folks, dodged the rain this morning to take some better photos of 'Rydal Daffodils' in the garden. This painting is now listed on my website. Happy Tuesday 💛
