As a GI and liver researcher, I always wonder why NIDDK do not offer R21 mechanism. Several colleagues mentioned that a lot of good science doesnโt get tested. This is particularly a good time to restart R21, as NIH is moving away from NOFO. @NIDDKgov@FriendsofNIDDK
