@Jose_Gaytanowo@nib95_@DomTheBomb You can set the controller down in dispatch and the game plays itself. The dispatch sections change nothing so you can literally just wait the timer out. Literally an interactive movie
@Anyonio963@phisnom This is how I know you have no idea what you are talking about. You obviously haven't played them because you're just talking out of your ass. Go look at the differences between the two and get back to me because you couldn't be more wrong. Not a single aspect went unchanged.
@Anyonio963@phisnom RE1R literally meets every point of that definition.
And you said "also a remake is not just graphics and adding content as the existing Remake did." Implying you don't see it as one. And your statement there was also false. It is literally a ground up remake in every aspect.
@Anyonio963@phisnom What point? You just shift the definition of whatever to your liking. Saying it hasn't been remade is idiotic. You just personally don't like it so you're trying to state your opinions as fact. Your only point is that you don't like tank controls. Everything else has been false.
@Anyonio963@phisnom You literally said "objectivly is not good."
The remake changed everything, you just want an over the shoulder camera perspective.
And no I don't need a remake because I can just play the current remake which is perfect as is. Would I play it if it came out? Sure, unneeded though
@Anyonio963@phisnom It's not objective at all. And it already had a full remake, stop moving the goalpost to fit your own definition. It's one of the most beloved survival horror games ever made and holds the test of time. Sorry you can't engage with something not entirely modernized to your liking
@Anyonio963@phisnom The difference being that SH2 had never been remade and wasn't accessible and was clunky. RE1 has a remake, is accessible, and plays just fine, and is far from "clunky as fuck." Just say "I don't like tank controls." It is not "needed" its a want.
@phisnom I do agree it would be nice for newer fans, but I would enjoy being able to play a new take on a title I literally can't play without digging out old hardware or emulating. And in terms of the direction they've gone with remakes, a Code Veronica remake makes the most sense to do.
@phisnom I'm not saying to not do it, I'm just saying it's not necessary. I'm sure that a Resident Evil 1 remake could be cool. However, there's multiple Resident Evil games that could use a remake well before another RE1 remake that aren't very accessible, CV and Outbreak as examples.
