Today, let’s take a glimpse into the fascinating world of
Thai circus art, where tradition and spectacle meet in a truly unique way.
Thai circus art blends acrobatics with dance, theater, and spirituality. It often features colorful masks and costumes inspired by Khon theater, elements of Muay Thai, and spectacular fire shows at festivals. Unlike the more rigid acrobatic traditions of other countries, it feels freer, more vibrant, and deeply connected to rituals and festive culture.
Good morning, dear all,
Wishing you a great day! And for those who enjoy riddles, here you go:
I start small and quiet,
but with warmth I change my form.
White and golden I appear,
rustling in many hands,
delighting many noses.
I simply belong.
What am I?
I’ll tell you the solution tomorrow.
Good morning, my dears, let me share with you a bit about the circus in Africa…
...Across Africa, acrobatics, dance, and mask performances have long been central to cultural celebrations. These forms of expression combine physical skill, rhythm, and storytelling, turning community gatherings into vivid performances. In countries such as Guinea, Senegal, or Tanzania, these traditions have grown into contemporary circus ensembles like Cirque Baobab and Mama Africa Acrobats. They blend traditional movements with modern stagecraft, creating shows that travel the world while keeping a strong connection to their cultural roots. The African circus, in this way, reflects both heritage and innovation, a living art that continues to evolve.

Good morning, everybody!
Wishing you a bright and joyful Sunday!
And since Sundays are perfect for a smile… here’s a little circus joke for you:
„Why don’t circus hoops ever get tired?
Because they’re always on a roll!“
Gm Dear!
I wish you all a wonderful start into the new week.
And what better way to begin than with a poem,
a little dance of light and life itself:
Diabolo
All alone upon the quiet evening square,
By the ancient, shadow-brooding dome,
Plays a maiden with her flying golden hair -
Diabolo.
Up and down with lively, changing beat,
Swift she swings the sticks, as if she sounded
Dancing rhythms, setting all of life
To pulse around!
And while I linger, watching her at play,
More and more I see: the merry maiden
Is Life itself, so bold, so childlike,
Conducting all...
Ever thus it played, that wild young girl,
Always in a hasty two-step measure,
Close beside the ancient, shadow-brooding dome -
Diabolo.

Today you can learn a bit more about the relation
between the tightrope walker and his rope:
Tightrope walkers in the circus rarely perform on a fully stiff rope. A slight, almost invisible sway is essential, it allows the rope to “breathe” with the performer’s body. In fact, many artists treat the rope as a silent partner, adjusting their rhythm to its subtle movements. This hidden dialogue creates the illusion of effortless balance.
Hello Dears,
wishing you all a great weekend filled with
adventure, discovery, and joy🧡
And for those who want to dive into something special:
behind the colorful circus wagons lies a hidden village on wheels…
...The caravans follow unwritten rules: old families at the center, animal keepers at the edge, the director at the “village square.” Inside, they hold heirlooms, secret storage spaces, and decades of craftsmanship. When placed in a circle, they form a sheltered courtyard, children play there, families share meals, stories are told. Invisible to outsiders, this circle of wagons is the true home of the circus people.
