Guys its okay. I thought Silent Hill 2 remake was going to be ass. Then was cautious near the launch with what we saw. Watched several streams of the first part, and it looks great and i kindve want to play it one day. It's okay for things to exceed expectations.

@varlinheau Until they physicallg age up the twins or say people have physically changed ages (and not the shadowbringers "their spirits spent a year here" stuff) this is what I believe is happening.

@varlinheau I feel like a lot of people forget or dont know that floating timelines exist (the Simpsons, pokemon ect) where time physically passes but most of the people stay the same and everyone is the same age.

@DirtbagDario And yes. I've gone through arr and stormblood several times without skipping cutscenes. Something I won't be doing with this quest chain if I ever have to do it again.

I finished dawntrail and 100% get why it's story is controversial. I am not about to argue with the people who say it surpasses heavensward, but for me I would rather do the entirety of og ARR than do the story presented in the level 99-100 quests ever again.

Too bad the game wants to have its cake and eat it too, so everything either feels tone deaf to the travesty this is, or makes me wonder why I should be dilly dallying like we do in these quests.

Y'all don't get me wrong, I love making fun of myself, but I'd rather the mass exodus from AST to WHM because it's not the meta happen again if I can help it because there will ALWAYS be a metric buttload of white mage players. It's easy and self reliant, AST needs SOMETHING.

Watching people shit on WHM not realizing the healers are actually very balanced rn, knowing that if they nerf AST and buff WHM, AST is going back to the suck pile.

I don't parse, but I can check logs/see how close they are in rDPS and how much white mage beats ast out in aDPS.

@one_big_boss Depends on what "begin" means. I've loved RE since the OG trilogy. I watched my older brother play through them a lot (I was too young to say which I saw first.)

First one I actually beat myself was RE 5 bc it was the first time I could play an RE game with someone else.

@RemnantKin I'm not gonna spoil, or be one of those "I didn't like it so you shouldn't like it" people, but man I have yet to find someone who can actually explain away all the issues I had with it that didn't go "wait you're right that is... an issue." lol

@NavytroyXIV @katoaptasteria I think if you think the devs made a poor show of it, that can be your opinion. But when the canon lore says "who stood beside you AS A FRIEND" you're saying the canon is wrong when many people disagree. He saw you as a friend at the end, but you don't have to see him as one ig.

@NavytroyXIV @katoaptasteria Friend I think can be up for interpretation, but I think even in shadowbringers he wanted to believe in us, and in EW he DOES believe in us. That's why he tried w us/was so upset we didn't meet his expectations in ShB, and why at the end he wants us to live a good life in EW.
