@grrrrlboy my two favourite things about sharing my country's heritage to my wider european or north and south american friends is a) the really stupid and trashy pop culture anecdotes or b) the actually really good pieces of media that would've gone crazy if they were anglophone
@grrrrlboy i love that italy has such varied pop culture surrounding our yearly massive music competition (which served as inspiration for eurovision itself back in the 50s so it's even more culturally relevant to us than it). i alone managed to compile over 30 anecdotes across 70+ years
@grrrrlboy admittedly one of the funniest things about the venue was walking in the first day and being confronted by a big microphone-shaped commemorative statue about eurovision 2021. and not just because i was like "hey that's the one we won"
great moment where @aimseytv and i walk into our shared hotel room that i booked with 2 beds
and it was 2 single beds pushed together that couldn't be separated because of the fixed nightstands.
tf!aimsey almost accidentally getting real in front of tf!ros and immediately realizing and being like "OHHHH WAIT IGNORE THAT" girlll i'm so bored let's go to therapy #TheFlight
tf!aimsey listing drift as someone who likes her does strike me as at least an overstatement. like yeah i could get behind it but it's a little too early to say definitively is it #TheFlight
"there's a lot of things in my head and they're all kinda jumbled up" tf!aimsey discovers the concept of love and friendship and joy. thank you for this tf!molly #TheFlight
tf!aimsey saying she and tf!drift have a "weekly arrangement" is i think not an ideal choice of words because if someone told me they and another person had a "weekly arrangement" my first thought would be very wrong #TheFlight
