INEOS spent all this money hiring people like Berrada and Wilcox for a "football infrastructure." These lot have a worse hit rate than Ed Woodward whose entire football philosophy was signing players purely based on how cool their announcement video would be
Lisandro Martinez, on behalf of every United fan: THANK YOU.
Thank you for having the balls to speak out, even if it costs you a new contract. More players should do the same. You’ll forever have my respect for this! 👏🏻❤️
Luke Shaw in August 2026: “I'm sure there will be a couple of additions to the squad, which is needed to make it stronger.”
Harry Maguire in August 2026: “I'm at an age now where they can bring in as many players as they want, bring in all the best players… I want to win all the trophies and be greedy about it, but it's up to the club.”
Lisandro Martinez in October 2026: “We had a fantastic season last season and now we expect more from the top, from upstairs, to bring in more players to compete because many teams have brought in many players as well. I expect more from our technical director. I have to be honest.”
INEOS have let Manchester United down.

Last night's finale of Lanterns is a rich study into:
Nature vs. nurture
Teacher vs. student
What part of ourselves are our choices
What do with power we've been given
That will unfortunately be forgotten because it had no giant green lasers or goofy aliens.
The biggest takeaway from DIGGER shouldn't be that critics are wrong. It should be that it's really important for you to go to the movies to experience art and formulate your own opinion.
There's a scene in Digger where Jesse Plemons' character gives a speech about the importance of art being cathartic in the face of turmoil and my immediate thought was that it was a direct mirror of Cruise's Oscar speech after 9/11
🚨🚨🗣️ Gary Lineker:
“I look at Manchester United and I see that the problems, it’s that thing coming down from the TOP. I must say, I must congratulate the Glazers on finding someone even WORSE than them, that they can blame and getting him in there and getting all the stick, Jim Ratcliffe.
“I don’t think he’s [Ratcliffe] a particularly pleasant human being. It’s a bit of a SHAMBLES of a football club the way it’s been run at the moment.
“So, yeah, well done the Glazers for that one, deflecting everything away from them. But it is a MESS, that club.”

Said he would knock Liverpool off their perch, kept going for DECADES until he achieved his goal. Kept his promise and said now I’m done.
That’s what you call AURA. The one and only. The greatest of all time.
