#WATCH | Mumbai: On Marathi compulsory for auto, taxi, cab drivers, Maharashtra CM Devendra Fadnavis says, "Today, people from the auto drivers' and rickshaw drivers' organizations met with me. They first expressed their support for the idea that functional Marathi should be learned by those working in Mumbai. They all want to learn it, but along with that, they also said that people of various ages are in this profession, and many have dropped out of studies a long time ago. Because of this, learning Marathi in such a short time is difficult for them. They have prepared a very comprehensive plan to teach functional Marathi. They have demanded that they be given one year for this task. The state government has accepted their point and is giving them one year. No action will be taken against them for one year..."

The @CMOMaharashtra ’s hurry to hand over these open spaces to his friends is worrisome for the city.

Only proves how anti GenZ the BJP is, taking away playgrounds and recreation grounds and putting them behind tall gates.

16 acres of open space taken from citizens of Juhu and Andheri, handed to a bjp MLC.

A football ground named after an India Olympian, taken away to be made into a convention centre named after a bjp leader.

And then we wonder why Mumbai’s pollution is so bad, and why we don’t perform at the @Olympics

A plot reserved for a Sports Complex to be converted into a fuel station despite there being fuel stations around.

This the ONLY reason the bjp wanted to take over the @mybmc - to take Mumbai’s lands and hand it over to its friends!

We must, as Mumbaikars, fight this, together!

वैद्यकीय महाविद्यालयांच्या प्रवेश परीक्षांमधील पेपरफुटीसारख्या गंभीर प्रकारानंतरही इतके अकार्यक्षम केंद्रीय मंत्री कोणत्याही देशात पदावर राहिले नसते.

Our 2021 EV policy had mandated that all ministers, all government departments and all urban local bodies that would need new cars from 2022 onwards would only rent/ purchase electric vehicles.

But when the government changed, this aspect of the policy was dumped.

More so, it was necessary that the power for electric vehicles would be affordable and that it comes from a clean source of energy.

That too is now a long lost story.

Now some ministers and MLAs are purchasing electric vehicles overnight for the photo ops- great!

But what about those who can’t?

Will BEST tickets become cheaper again and other public transport be subsidised?

Will metro tickets see reduction in price?
