→ Email real humans, not HR portals.
Five personal emails to alumni will outperform fifty online submissions.

Be specific: “I admire your work on X case. I’d love five minutes of your advice.”

→ Follow up once.
Politely. Confidently. Persistence signals maturity, not desperation.

→ Prepare for rejection.
You’ll hear “no” a lot before you get the right “yes.” Every unanswered message builds resilience you’ll need as a lawyer.
