Now that more consumers are reading honey labels and paying attention to where their honey comes from, you may have noticed that some honeys explicitly say that they have been produced by Native Irish Honey Bees

But you may wonder why this is important. After all, honey is honey, right?
Technically, yes, honey is honey. As long as it is made by honeybees, there is nothing to say that honey produced by one type of honeybee is better than that produced by another.
