What a night to remember!
The Gamashie Homowo Festival 2026 was nothing short of a beautiful display of tradition, unity, and good vibes.

Zongo Lane was lit - Wulomei and DJ Hot kept the crowd moving, Dr. Lasu shut it down, and the Dansoman Friends brought that extra sauce.

Thanks to everyone who showed up as a community to honor our roots and celebrate our heritage. 🦁

Time does not erase grief, nor does it diminish the weight of one’s absence - but it transforms our sorrow into a lasting tribute that outlives even the deepest pain.♥️

A year after that fateful day, we solemnly remember the 8 dedicated brave souls : Hon. Dr. Edward Omane Boamah, Dr. Ibrahim Murtala Mohammed, Dr. Samuel Sarpong, Alhaji Muniru Mohammed, Mr. Samuel Aboagye, Squadron Leader Peter Anala, Flying Officer Manaen Twum and Sergeant Ernest Addo Mensah who fell while protecting our land and waters.💔

We extend our deepest solidarity to their bereaved families and reaffirm that their names and their sacrifice will forever be etched in our national consciousness. May they rest eternally in peace. 🕊️ ♥️🙏🏽

On Wednesday, I had the honour of attending the 14th Commemorative Lecture in memory of the late President Professor John Evans Fiifi Atta Mills.

President Mills embodied humility, integrity, and selfless leadership. His unwavering commitment to peace, democracy, and national development continues to inspire all who are dedicated to public service.

The lecture was a timely reminder of the values he stood for and the responsibility we all share in building a united, just, and prosperous Ghana. His legacy remains a guiding light, and I pray we continue to uphold the principles he championed.

May his soul continue to rest in perfect peace.🕊️♥️

Yesterday, I paid a courtesy call on the National Chief Imam, Osman Nuhu Sharubutu, to formally inform him of my intention to contest for the position of National Chairman of the National Democratic Congress (NDC).🇵🇸

As I embark on this important journey of service to our great party, I deemed it necessary to seek his prayers, blessings, and wise counsel. The National Chief Imam remains a revered symbol of peace, unity, humility, and national cohesion, and his guidance is invaluable to all who aspire to leadership.

I was deeply encouraged by his warm reception, fatherly advice, and heartfelt prayers for a successful and peaceful journey ahead.
