When we congratulate the Air Force on their professional holiday, we thank them for the thousands of lives saved in cities and villages, in every corner of independent Ukraine. After today's Russian missile attack on Kryvyi Rih, six people are known to have been killed, including a child, a girl. She was only ten years old. 69 people were injured.

In Kherson, a police officer was killed by artillery fire... Nine people were wounded, including a child and four volunteers.

To ensure the safety of our cities, to protect the normal life of Ukrainians and our children, our military must have enough long-range weapons, enough means to defeat terrorists... The world's sanctions pressure against Russia deserves to be significantly increased.

Now there is more and more open information, including investigations by journalists, about how a terrorist state circumvents global sanctions and obtains critical components for weapons production. And, by the way, we have repeatedly provided such information to our partners in a classified regime.

We must act together. Significantly strengthen sanctions for terror. Significantly limit the channels of delivery of critical components for missile production to Russia. And we must respond with determination - determination to supply Ukraine with the necessary modern weapons, including long-range missiles, so that we can remove this terrorist threat that Russia is creating against our people, against our children.

All of us together in the world can defeat terror!

Gold Stars to Heroes of Ukraine, Crosses of Combat Merit, orders of Bohdan Khmelnytsky, orders For Courage... I also had the honor of presenting honored marks of distinction to combat brigades and border units. Happy that we have such warriors.

We are not slowing down the pace of our integration with NATO. I brought together representatives of the Verkhovna Rada and government officials to prepare practical steps to implement the decisions of the Vilnius Summit.

In particular, we have a clear plan to launch the NATO-Ukraine Council at all levels. We will see its work at the ambassadorial level tomorrow during an urgently convened meeting on the situation in the Black Sea.

We are also starting to jointly prepare an interoperability plan with the Alliance.

We have already shown that we can shoot down even the Russian missiles that the terrorists boasted about. Thanks to the help of our partners and the air defense systems provided to Ukraine, our defenders of the sky have saved thousands of lives. But we need more air defense systems for our entire territory, for all our cities and communities. The world must not get used to Russian terror – terror must be defeated. And it is possible!

I held the first of a series of important phone calls - with 🇨🇦 Prime Minister @JustinTrudeau.
I’m grateful to him for his recent visit to Kyiv and to Canada and all Canadians for their continued support of Ukraine.

I spoke about the current situation on the battlefield and shared 🇺🇦 assessments of the attempted coup in 🇷🇺 and the impact of this situation on the course of hostilities.

I drew @JustinTrudeau's attention to the threatening situation created by the occupation troops at the Zaporizhzhia NPP. Insufficient reaction of the world to the blowing up of the Kakhovka hydroelectric power plant dam and the attempt to blow up the dam at the Kryvyi Rih reservoir allows the occupiers to prepare a terrorist attack with radiation leakage at the ZNPP.

Partners of 🇺🇦 must demonstrate a principled response, in particular at the @NATO Summit in Vilnius.
