probably a hot take but i don’t think a book is queer bc the mc is queer. it certainly is a definition issue, but queerness is not just two char being bi or lesbian or else. i’ve read books with two sapphic mcs in a relationship that i don’t consider queer (the book, not the mcs)

@miiiiikedropp Yes but we aren’t talking about irl queer people, we are talking about the story. If the story is a m/f romance—it is not queer. If the story is an m/f romance and the bisexuality is a major theme or focus—it is queer. It’s about the focus of the story.
