Yusuf Pathan sought a municipal plot in Vadodara in 2012. The proposal was rejected by the Gujarat government in 2014. In 2024, the BJP-controlled VMC served him an encroachment notice. The land was valued at ₹20.5 crore.

Now, two months after he quit TMC, Gujarat proposes to GIFT him 500 sq m and sell him another 478 sq m at a 45% discount.

इस नए धंधे का मॉडल बहुत सिंपल है।

लागत लगभग जीरो है। एक माइक, एक प्रेस लिखा कार्ड जो खुद ही छपवा लो, और एक नारा जो हर बार काम करता है, संविधान खतरे में है।

मार्केटिंग फ्री है। गाली गलौच को दिखाओ, अराजकता बताओ, लोकतंत्र खत्म, संविधान खत्म बताओ, इसके बाद भीड़ ही कैमरा बन जाती है, भीड़ ही उस वीडियो को वायरल कर देती है। आपको कुछ करने की जरूरत नहीं।

और मोनेटाइजेशन पक्का है। एक बार वीडियो वायरल, फॉलोवर आए, फॉलोवर आए तो फिर मेल आएंगे - पार्टी के लिए रील बना दो, पैसे देंगे। दिन में क्रांति, रात में बिलिंग।

इसीलिए ये खत्म नहीं होगा। आप सोचते हैं ठंड बढ़ेगी तो चले जाएंगे, पुलिस हटाएगी तो चले जाएंगे, कोर्ट डांटेगा तो चले जाएंगे। नहीं जाएंगे।

ये छात्र नहीं हैं कि नौकरी मिलते ही चले जाएंगे, ये किसान नहीं हैं कि फसल कटते ही चले जाएंगे। ये कंटेंट क्रिएटर हैं। इनके लिए जंतर-मंतर ही ऑफिस है।

बेंगलुरु के स्टार्टअप की तरह - प्रॉफिट हो न हो, हर दिन फंडिंग के लिए नया पिच। जब तक दर्शक रुक कर देखेगा, तब तक ये धंधा चलता रहेगा।

पत्रकारिता का रेट कार्ड देख लीजिए, इसके बाद सोचिए कि इस आंदोलन में शामिल कॉकरोच, कम्युनिस्ट और भाड़े की भीड़ का रेट कार्ड क्या होगा?
