At the end end of it all after enjoying the taxpayers' money in traversing the country, we want a report on how much have u spent, and how much have you recovered such that we balance the sheet, good enough you won't be the first Ugandans to use a lot of money to save too little
Last week, while traversing the slopes of the Elgon Mountains, we were caught in a heavy downpour. We branched off at Mama Sowediβs restaurant at the boda boda stage, Wanale Junction, for a cup of black tea and a plate of rice and beans.
I must say, it was one of the best cups of black tea I have ever tasted. The rice had a few stones in it, but I didnβt complain because, for only UGX 2,500, we each enjoyed a plate of rice, beans, and tea. It was simple, affordable, and served with genuine hospitality.
Soon, I will return with our General @mkainerugabaβs supporters and Mbale District PLU structure, to support Mama Sowedi with iron sheets so she can expand her restaurant, grow her business, and employ more young people in the village.
Thank you, Mama Sowedi, for your kindness, the delicious tea, the warm meal, and for giving us shelter from the rain at Wanale Junction. May God bless your hard work.
In Uganda, a nurse is paid UGX 400,000 per month or more, depending on their level. The private sector pays UGX 200 000. or more. A nurse who is paid UGX 400,000 has bills nearly 6x the pay, and we expect them to be on duty all the time or not to steal drugs. #WeAreStupid
This is a very good reborn idea, when we grew up, we used to do it called "Bulungi bwansi" our grandparents told us it was a contemporary act of good and well being from the colonial time.
1. No one knows who had abolished it
2. It is okay to rebirth it
National Cleaning Days
Rt. Hon. @RobinahNabbanja - Prime Minister of Uganda: I bring you warm greetings from H.E. @KagutaMuseveni, who initiated the National Cleaning Days and advocated for its adoption as a national programme | #NationalCleaningDays
@BalaamBarugahar@Thomas_Tayebwa All the same, there must be organised & planned procedure, not just playing to the gallery and & making stunt, we want an impactful procedure not just spending taxpayers money in making trips and tours to record tiktok and social media content, with due respect muzanya katemba
The best should be to go with facts and records the way parliamentary PAC does it and they fire these officers questions and if possible put impactful remedies of recovering embezzled monies, but shouting in front of camera while monies not recovered is only but hopeless
With due respect Minister of local government and minister of state are just acting drama, spending taxpayers money in capturing tiktok and social media content, otherwise there must be reports laid somewhere on tables about these irregularities but neglected and ignored
I believe the Ministry of Local Government and the Minister of State are using a different approach. My method will focus on supportive supervisionβnot policing or fault-finding, but identifying weaknesses and providing solutions - Hon. @CHRISBARYOMUNS1#UBCBehindtheHeadlines
U're regaining your natural brains, with due respect, Senoir medical specialist @BaryomunsiChris U almost lost track, by following clamsy methods of street comedians like Hon @BalaamBarugahar had Hon @JustineNameere, Medicine in which U performed best has never been that shabby

@CapitalFMUganda@BaryomunsiChris But also after a tremendous decrease in the number of interns as per the policy okayed by himselfaming others is @BaryomunsiChris surprised, may be only because that interns are so disciplined not to riot like him when he was an intern
@CapitalFMUganda As a senior medical specialist, I would request that Dr @BaryomunsiChris offers a full month of night duty, at Mbarar referral hospi or Mulago National referral hospital as a motivation to the junior health workers
But also 530MPs each at 315M for a vehicle, 315M takes care of more than 10interns per annum, over 5300interns can be handled by cars of Mps for 5years. Coz how many medical interns do we have per year as a country?
NO MEDICAL INTERN WILL WORK FOR FREE β.
Dear @rggoobi, @DianaAtwine, @KagutaMuseveni, and @CHRISBARYOMUNS1, please note that the medical interns have rejected this move, and the general public will bear the cost if it is not reversed.

But Hion. Minister @BalaamBarugahar, are aware of what is called decentralization, or you are saying you will abolish decentralization first? @DailyMonitor
βI want to remove that habit of keeping people in one position in a district. They become chiefs of districts. How can someone serve 20 years in one single district? Why would ministers be rotated and someone remains in a district?β- @BalaamBarugahar after being vetted as the new Minister of Local Government.

@SpireJim What's to do medicine but did BCM and got a principal pass in Chemistry and say subsidiaries in Biology and Math, but Biology is a principal for Medicine, so he does HEAC in biological sciences to obtain enough knowledge in Biology to pursue medicine, I need more clarification
@SpireJim But I thought HEAC is supposed to be done by someone with another qualification probably lower qualification to ascertain knowledge in that subject he/she prefers to pursue if he/she has no principal pass in that subject that is a principal for a course, for example one wants
