@Imaisms Noting down those bands as wellπ€
I would love to get to explore more german bands! I think there is a song by Liaisons Dangereuses in your playlist
@Imaisms No arguments there hehehe
I was intrigued by everyone on the playlist, but I remember going to check out Malaria! (the name will never not be funny, it's the exclamation mark for me) as soon as the playlist ended. I regret nothing hihi
@Imaisms Thank you so much! Saved them all on my spotify and I'll definitely give them a listenπ₯° Also, something a little irrelevant, I think I never told you that I listened to your Nasty Industrial Music for Angry Gays playlist. I listen to it quite often actually, I really like it!
@Imaisms Noting them down to check them out some time π€ Are there specific songs or albums you would recommend by each? (I've only listened to the first album of New Order and Neubauten, but I really enjoyed them)
@Imaisms It always fascinates me whenever I post my barely coherent thoughts on music and then you come and make sense of themπ "Sonic worldbuilding" is the perfect description!
@Imaisms Now when I focus, I view a song as a "construct" or a "stage play" where the different sounds execute different roles to build the final...picture? Set? Something like that π
@Imaisms Meaning that instead of a homogenous stream of sound, I starting picking apart the different noises, sounds and instruments to paint a picture of how the song is "constructed". It's really obvious to a musician but it blew my mind when I started doing it and it still does.
@HamushiNoYoni It's so cool π€ can you think of other examples where he does that? I would love to pay more attention to them next time I listen to the songs
@HamushiNoYoni Ohhh!! I love that! Would another example be when in the beginning of DTD you can hear something like the sound of a metallic ball going in circles around you? Thank for explaining π€
@Imaisms That's definitely the message I got from your posts and it's a lovely breath of fresh air (along with the appropriate amount of memes and horny shitposts, both is good hihi)
@Imaisms Sorry for making this all about myself btw...
I'm really grateful for your contributions to the b-t fandom and I think you are such an interesting and wonderful person (from just the fragments of you that I get to see here)
@Imaisms You definitely challenge the way I have seen fandom be done and, even though I don't always know how to respond to it, I think that is a wonderful and precious thing.
@Imaisms I realize, however, that I have been mostly passively "entertained" by your thoughts and not given much back. While you always "talk to me", I'm mostly silent to you. I think I naively thought that that wouldn't affect you, but obviously it does, even to a small degree.
