.@pfwpaul shared some great perspective on #Patriots DT Christian Barmore’s comments and NFL Films:
“He might just be saying, ‘This isn’t us. This ain’t us as a team or as a defense stopping the run.’ He might’ve just been talking to Milton Williams… The edits and the cuts are a different thing… [NFL Films is] very good at what they do. But, sometimes you can go and you can look — and when you’re a psychotic like me and you recognize certain situations of the game — you can tell that they put that edit in the middle of the third quarter. That play happened in the beginning of the first quarter and you can see it… NFL Films does sort of creatively edit some of these things at times… They’re trying to tell a narrative and sometimes it’s deceiving.”

Weirdest part of the Patriots' first-half offensive woes is they were clearly bamboozled by some exotic blitzes on the first two drives.
After that though? Seattle played them straight up. McDaniels called an inside handoff on third-and-5. Entire unit looks shook from that start.
(And while all of Twitter seems to be blaming Will Campbell for ... everything, I'd direct more blame to the fellow rookie by his side.)
