This clip is from the 2026 Asian U23 Athletics Championships, held at the Sport Development Center Stadium in Ordos, Inner Mongolia, China, from 9–12 July 2026.
Shravani Sangle, a 20-year-old sprinter from Maharashtra ran the final leg for India in the mixed 4×400 m
China led going into the closing metres, & Shravani came from behind to pass China’s anchor just 0.10 seconds ahead.
I was holding my breath watching that final lap. It didn’t look even conceivable that she would be able to catch up.
But Shravan wasn’t willing to see finishing second to a powerhouse like China as inevitable & acceptable.
She didn’t see the yawning gap as an impossibility.
She was practising the art of the possible…
Giving up wasn’t acceptable.
Shravani is my #MondayMotivation
@Akshat_World SSY was never a wealth maximizer. It's a guaranteed, tax-free floor for a specific life goal. Honest take: use SSY for the floor, equities for growth. That's not a 2-min debate — that's just sensible planning.
@Akshat_World If your daughter's education & wedding costs are in INR, the INR-adjusted USD argument is just rhetorical decoration. Your liabilities are still rupees. If your daughter's education & wedding costs are in INR, the INR-adjusted USD argument is just rhetorical.
Tamilnadu governor's refusal to invite Mr Vijay of TVK to form the government is unconscionable, undemocratic and violative of the letter and spirit of the Constitution. Whether the government enjoys the support of the legislature should be decided on the floor of the Assembly, not in the Raj Bhavan.
The Union government should immediately intervene and firmly advise the governor to immediately invite Vijay to form the government.
As long as the House does not vote out a government, even a minority government can survive and govern. There are many precedents - Indira Gandhi government after 1969 Congress split, PV government from 1991 to 1996 etc.
Governors have no business to put their thumb on the scale and play partisan politics in constitutional office.
The people of Tamilnadu gave an unusual verdict rejecting the prevailing political culture. Disrespecting that mandate will further erode public trust in politics and undermine democracy. We have seen in our neighbouring countries how such contempt for democratic norms will lead to street protests and collapse of governments.
I appeal to the PM and HM to act with wisdom and foresight and advise the governor to invite the leader of the largest legislative party to form the government. The President should intervene to protect the constitutional values. If the governor is still recalcitrant, he should be dismissed forthwith.
Chinese high-altitude photographer Ma Chunlin captured an incredible two-minute and twenty-six-second #video filmed in a single take with a drone, showcasing the journey from #Everest Base Camp (EBC) to the summit.
Remarkably, Chunlin made this ascent in just fifteen minutes! The footage was recorded between 6:55 and 7:10 a.m. on May 19, after he identified the ideal window of opportunity based on the perfect combination of #space, time, and #weather conditions.
Typically, permission to fly #drones from the north side of Everest (Tibet) is not granted, but Chunlin managed to overcome this challenge. In a previous #attempt in 2024, his #drone had been destroyed by a heavy snowstorm near Camp 3, but he refused to give up.
Enjoy this breathtaking video!
The goal of our financial system is to keep you poor.
- You pay 30% operating income tax
- You pay 18% GST on most items
- You invest whatever is pay: and then again pay 12.5%
In between, you pay a series of commissions on everything (like STT, Fund management fee on Mutual Funds and whatnot).
The game is simple: go to work, make some money, pay taxes; whatever is saved-- pay commissions on that.
Very few people get this point. And, build mitigation strategies.
Tax residencies, Golden Visas, offshore accounts etc are all mitigation strategies.
Anyone who tries to teach you about these topics: are your well wishers, who are actually trying to help you get rich.
Imagine the screams of the peacocks, HCU's pride, as bulldozers tear through their home; It's a sanctuary for spotted deer, Indian rock pythons, countless birds, and unique flora nurtured for decades. This is betraying Hyderabad's incredible biodiversity. #ProtectOurNature#HCU
Hyderabad’s 400-acre green space near HCU is home to diverse wildlife, including monitor lizards & the Indian Roller. Selling it means losing a vital part of our city’s identity. Let’s protect our natural heritage! #SaveOurSpaces#HyderabadNature#OurGreenCity#hcubiodiversity
Students and scientists study plants and nature there. It's like an outdoor classroom. If we destroy it, we lose a chance to learn more about our world. Let's keep this place for learning and nature! #SaveHCUEcology
