Of course this last nail in the coffin to Gyanesh Kumar's credibility comes on the back of some phenomenal investigative work done by independent journalists and organisations.
One can only guess the kind of pressure @IndianExpress would be under right now - in Godse's India there is high cost to be paid for speaking the truth. So kudos to @anantgoenka @rajkamaljha and the team at Express - I guess the Ramnath Goenka Award for this year would be an in-house recipient :)

A protest has been called at Jantar Mantar on October 2, with organisers demanding the resignation and arrest of Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar.

At a Press Club of India press conference, student activist and protest organiser Neha Bora(@neha_aisa), along with Prashant Bhushan and Manoj Jha, said the protests would continue regardless of permission granted. With parts of Jantar Mantar closed off, the organisers said there are other places to protest and stressed that the right to dissent exists for every citizen.

The INDIA Bloc is also planning protests across India from October 2 to 8.
