Horrified to see the images from New Delhi of the LoP, @rahulgandhi, being manhandled and dragged off to detention. At a time when Indian democracy is being ravaged by the disenfranchisement of 130 million voters, to protest is to stand with every citizen whose constitutional rights are being violated. The government’s reaction is disgraceful.

यूपी के पूर्वांचल एक्सप्रेस-वे पर सुल्तानपुर जिले में हादसा -

पंचकुला (हरियाणा) में शहीद हुए सूबेदार मेजर का शव लेकर जा रही एंबुलेंस सड़क किनारे खड़े ट्रक में जा घुसी। सूबेदार मेजर के बेटे, भाई, भतीजे, एंबुलेंस ड्राइवर की मौत हुई। एंबुलेंस में बैठा कोई भी व्यक्ति जिंदा नहीं बचा।

@Sachingupta Seen lot of trucks parked wrongly on the roadside, without any lights, reflectors. Many times trucks are driving without any rear lights, reflectors and so are not visible during night. Very dangerous when there are no light poles on the highways. Strict action should be taken.

@PuneDistrict This is approx 2.5 to 3 KM stretch - see how many horizontal roads intersecting the single road. There are no roads parallel to this road intersection these horizontal roads so that traffic could be distributed and diluted, thus avoiding load on this single road.

@PuneDistrict Poor town planning. Poor public transportation. Encroachment on roads. Considering the population, every road in India should atleast be of 4 lanes if not 6. Lack of connecting roads make it even more bizzare.

1962 में मोतीलाल कोठारी नाम का व्यापारी रिचर्ड एटनबरो क़ो फ़ोन करता है, कि सर आप गाँधी जी पर फ़िल्म क्यों नहीं बनाते?

शुरुवाती झिझक के बाद एटनबरो तैयार होते हैँ.
हॉलीवुड के एक स्टूडियो में जाते हैँ फ़िल्म बनाने के आईडिया क़ो लेकर.

लेकिन हॉलीवुड स्टूडियो रिजेक्ट कर देता है.
लेकिन रिचर्ड पर भूत सवार था फ़िल्म बनाने का गाँधी जी की जीवनी पढ़ने के बाद.

15 साल एटनबरो संघर्ष करते हैँ इसके लिए.
आखिर में इंदिरा गाँधी क़ो पता लगता है इस कोशिश के बारें में.

इंदिरा Nfdc क़ो आदेश देती है फ़िल्म बनाने का
देश में एटनबरो क़ो एक एक्टर नहीं मिल पाता गाँधी के किरदार के लिए.

वो वापिस अमेरिका जाकर बेन किंग्सले क़ो पकड़ कर लाते हैँ, उससे वजन कम करवाते हैँ, 1 साल तक गाँधी के जीवन की प्रैक्टिस करवाते हैँ

बेन के दादा गुजरात से थे. आखिरकार 1982 में फ़िल्म रिलीज़ होती है और पूरे विश्व में धूम मचा देती है.

8 ऑस्कर लाकर कीर्तिमान स्थापित करती है.

लेकिन भारत में उस वक्त राजेश खन्ना, देव आनंद,
धर्मेंद्र, अमिताभ, सुनील दत्त, दिलीप कुमार थे.

पर उनमे से एक भी काबिल नहीं निकला इस महान आत्मा के किरदार क़ो जीने के लिए.

महात्मा गाँधी की आत्मा भारत में बसती थी, पर उसको जिया बेन किंग्सले ने था.
