Robert Pattinson says Warner Bros. caught him stealing socks from the set of The Batman and eventually warned him to stop.
“It’s impossible to take anything home from it. I did get a lot of socks. All of my socks are all from Batman.”
“I kept getting told by Warner Bros., ‘You know, it’s fine to have a few, but you take them every day. How many socks do you need? Because we’ve been shooting for a year.’”
Over the course of filming, he reportedly collected around 156 pairs. Pattinson later clarified that many of the pairs he took were actually "penguin socks," not bat socks, though he insisted it wasn’t an intentional joke about The Penguin.
“I depend on style more than plot. It is how you do it, and not your content that makes you an artist. A story is simply a motif, just as a painter might paint a bowl of fruit just to give him something to be painting.”
