OP : Hi everyone this is my father's bike which i am currently riding bought in 2010 and till date there has been no modification done everything is company fitted/ authorised parts replaced. On 5th june around 3pm I was traveling back home where i was stopped by the police and was directly told to pay a spot fine for modified silencer they didn't just stopped and fined me only that day they were literally on a hunt stopping every bike rider no matter if they were carrying proper documents or wearing helmets, coming back to me my all papers are upto date with zero failures and
i even tried showing them the picture of my bike from RE website that this is a stock silencer yet he didn't hear me rather smirked and told me that he will now seize my vehicle unless either i accept to pay the fine or submit my license or blue book, he literally treated me like a criminal as if i had committed a hit n run case, u can actually see all of them hiding their name badges before this video was taken and his smile says everything that he knew he was misusing his power without any hesitation
Later i was forced to sit back on my bike and the junior officer who was totally unfit as an active working official having gutka and riding my bike without any helmet along with the senior officer riding his own government provided bike without any helmets to the Entally police station as we reached there they tried to sieze my bike where i was actually told that i was supposed to meet the senior officer but rather they tried seizing my vehicle so i stopped them and i got trapped in their plan where they harrased me for 2 hrs and forced me to rather pay the fine or my bike will be seized without letting me talk to any senior and was only allowed to speak to front desk officer who was least bothered to hear me for obvious reasons they all were corrupt and unfit as an active government working official In the end I paid fine of rupees 2000
@VivaciousStree@NewsArenaIndia I do believe, this is from Thane and the driver is from an App based Taxi service and he has been taught a lesson. No mercy to such people 🙏, the senior citizen could have lost his life.
This is the condition of the Punjab mansion of Hindu businessman Todar Mal who paid 7,800 gold coins and bought 4 yards of land from the Mughal emperor Aurangzeb to bury the bodies of the 2 young sons and mother of Guru Gobind Singh on December 13, 1705.
The Mughal faujdar Wazir Khan had ordered the two young children be bricked alive as they refused to accept Islam. When they died, their grandmother died of shock
The Mughals did not want to allow the cremation to humiliate the martyrs. They stipulated that the buyer can take only as much space as he could cover with give gold coins for the land. All the Sikh chiefs just stood helplessly
That's when Todar Mal produced the coins and bought the piece of land, and cremated the three bodies.
This is biggest irony of life, India is only country where its true heritage is hidden from next generation and falsehood Is taught.
Keeping in mind the rising fuel costs in the country, I bought an MG Windsor EV a few months ago. I genuinely believed I was making a smart decision. Unfortunately, what followed has been one of the worst ownership experiences of my life.
About a month ago, while returning from my son's school, a speeding Mahindra Thar rammed into my car from behind. My vehicle was moving at barely 30–35 km/h when the impact pushed it into an Innova ahead. The rear section of the car suffered significant damage.
The very same day, I handed the vehicle over to MG's service center for repairs.
From that point onward, for weeks, I kept making the same phone call:
"When will my car be ready ?"
Every time, I received a different excuse.
Last Saturday , I was informed that the repair work had been completed and only the insurance company's delivery order was pending. I was assured that the order would arrive on Monday and the car would be handed over immediately.
Monday came and went.
By afternoon, having heard nothing, I decided to visit the workshop myself.
And that's when the real story began.
The service advisor responsible for my vehicle didn't even know where the car was parked. After searching across three floors, we finally discovered it in the basement.
What I saw there left me speechless.
The car was in worse condition than it had been immediately after the accident.
At that moment, I realized that my biggest mistake wasn't the accident it was buying an MG. In the last 20 years, I have owned vehicles from almost every major automobile manufacturer. I've dealt with repairs, insurance claims, and service centers countless times. But I have never experienced such disorganization, negligence , and lack of accountability from any company.
Keeping a customer's vehicle for nearly a month, providing misleading updates, and then not even knowing where the car is parked is not poor service it's complete disrespect for the customer's time , trust, and money.
As I was leaving the workshop, I told the advisor "Brother, sell this car for whatever you can get even if I have to take a loss of a few lakhs. I don't have the courage to bring it home anymore. If I ever have to come back to this workshop again, I might genuinely lose my mind."
People may debate how good or bad the MG Windsor EV is as a product.
But as far as MG's after-sales service is concerned, my verdict is final.
This has been, without a doubt, the worst customer service experience I have ever had with any automobile company.
If you're considering buying an MG vehicle, don't just visit the showroom. Spend some time at their service center first. The difference between the two may help you make a much better decision.

A 24-year-old Polish tennis player arrived in Paris last week ranked 114th in the world, with no sponsors, no guaranteed income, and no certainty she could even pay for her hotel room.
She had to win three qualifying matches just to enter the French Open main draw. Prize money is only paid at the end of the tournament, so a Polish sports drink brand quietly stepped in and covered her hotel bill.
Her name is Maja Chwalinska. And today, she plays in the French Open final.
Before this tournament, she had won exactly one Grand Slam main draw match in her entire career. She had battled depression so severe that in 2021 she couldn't get out of bed. She underwent knee surgery in 2022. She spent years grinding through small tournaments across Europe just to stay afloat.
Then she arrived in Paris, won three qualifiers, and kept winning. Zheng Qinwen. Elise Mertens. Maria Sakkari. Diana Shnaider. Nine straight matches. One set dropped.
She is now the first qualifier in French Open history to reach the final. The last time a qualifier reached a Grand Slam final, it was Emma Raducanu at the 2021 US Open. Raducanu won.
By simply making the final, Chwalinska has earned more prize money than her entire career combined. The runner-up cheque alone is $1.6 million. If she wins today, she takes home $3.25 million.
One week ago she couldn't pay for her hotel room.

Totally with you on this sir
Down the years this tag line’s forgotten
“Youngster nahin karega to kaun karega”
Most young men do
I know a coursemate of mine who walked up to the Bde Cdr’s office & told him “I want to marry your daughter”
They did get married, intent matters
You want the young officer to sacrifice his life for the love of the Nation, but you don’t want him to express his love for his fiancée.
In the Army we say ‘Youngster nahi karega, toh kaun karega’.
If you can not find a fault in his professional capabilities, don’t do this nuktachini for such a pure gesture of love and belonging.
Military equipment has been on display during many ‘Know your Army’ exhibitions around the country. The students and non military personnel have clicked pics with it showing pride and love for the Army. So, please don’t bring in the national security angle into this.
Let the young soldier do his national duty with pride and honour 👍

The hotel Flourish Stays in Malaviya Nagar, where the fire incident has killed 21 people so far, had permission for only 6 rooms but was operating 25. It didn't have fire safety clearance either.
No surprises. I'm sure 90% of hotels operate like this. MCD knows, they come for inspections, take their cut, and leave. It's only after such tragedies that these irregularities make the news.
Will the police arrest any MCD officials responsible for ensuring that hotels operate as per the norms? No way. They'll probably arrest the hotel's restaurant cooking staff because the fire apparently started in the kitchen.
