There is an old adage: actions speak louder than words. While @NYCMayor posts platitudes on Jewish holidays, he continues to engage in inflammatory rhetoric that puts NYC Jews in danger, and engages in the calculated erasure of mainstream Jewry from NYC life.
Mayor Mamdani was elected to run New York City—not to turn City Hall into a platform for his ideological campaign against Israel. Yet he repeatedly spends his time and resources obsessively focusing on an issue over which he has no legal authority, instead of on the issues that impact the daily lives of New Yorkers.
We are tired of the Mayor employing rhetoric that repeatedly ignores reality and incorrectly places one-sided blame for the current conflict on Israel. It is telling that, at the same time, the Mayor remains silent about the world's worst human rights violators. His own senior staff reached out with an olive branch to Iranian regime officials.
In the city with the largest Jewish population outside of Israel, his words carry consequences. They deepen divisions, legitimize the unique demonization of Israel that has resulted in real violence against the Jewish community, and leave many Jewish New Yorkers feeling increasingly isolated in their own city.
Mayor Mamdani, we again implore you to stop putting a target on the back of the Jewish community.
#BelieveIsraeliWomen
Let’s set the record straight on two incidents today in Gaza:
◾️ In northern Gaza, 30 humanitarian aid trucks entered. Chaos ensued as thousands of Palestinians surrounded them. Tragically, dozens were killed or injured due to pushing, trampling, or being run over. The IDF was not involved.
◾️ In a different location on the Gaza border, IDF soldiers secured a humanitarian convoy to prevent Hamas from stealing aid. When a group of Gazans moved toward the soldiers, warning shots were fired. When this didn’t deter them, the IDF fired at those posing a threat.
Every loss of civilian life is tragic. Stick to the facts, not Hamas propaganda.

No one supported Al Qaeda on 9/11.
No one supported ISIS when it attacked Paris.
Why does @DemSocialists support Hamas when it murders Israeli civilians?
Why do people only excuse terror when it targets Israel?
Big thanks to our AJC Chicago friends for taking the time to coach us on identifying antisemitism, how to be better allies and create a culture of inclusivity everywhere, on and off the court 💛
