Here's the bottomline — if #India wants, it can ask the junta to stop the indiscriminate attacks in #ChinState because they are destabilising the border. It's a legit 'nat sec' argument. New Delhi has leverage & it should use it to stop the humanitarian disaster next door.

Perhaps it's time for non-Burmese speakers to stop using the word "Tatmadaw", the self-sanctified, glorified eponym the Burmese military style themselves.

The word refers to the dynastic era army in which the “king” is present.

The word “Myanmar/Burmese military” is enough.

Building a house in Chin state is said to b a very challenging job as materials required aren’t locally accessible & have to b imported from remote faraway places
