Tonight, the Conservative Group has taken control of the London Borough of Enfield.

Congratulations to Cllr Alessandro Georgiou on becoming the new Leader of the Council.

When @alexgeorgiou said he was planning to take the Council people scoffed - especially the Enfield Labour group.

But, with an amazing team of councillors and candidates, they did it.

An unholy alliance of big-government: Reform’s Robert Jenrick & Labour’s Sadiq Khan have effectively outlawed air conditioning in new homes.

Jenrick baked restrictions into national building regs & Khan has doubled down in London.

Only the Conservatives have a plan to fix it..

It’s time to end the de facto ban on air conditioning.

Only 3% of British homes have air con compared to 90% of homes in the US, or Japan.

We need to overturn our miserabilist approach to energy which says we alone can’t have air con or AI.

We have allowed antisemitism to spiral out of control. Many of us are questioning if we have a future here.

I think it’s great to see young people in politics, taking leadership roles in their local areas but I would have a problem with anyone, no matter their Party or age, that doesn’t see the conflict of interest in this?

When Jewish people say they are fearful, the answer should be solidarity, not denial, excuses, or whataboutery.

For the first time in my life, I would not answer honestly if a stranger asked me if I was Jewish.

A majority of Britain’s Jews are now considering leaving Britain. Britain is no longer safe for Jews. What a horrific statement.
