👊This is huge! @KlimaSeniorin won their #ClimateJustice case in the @ECHR_CEDH. The landmark decision is a victory for all generations and will, I’m sure, inspire citizens in Europe and across the globe to hold their politicians to account if they fail to tackle climate change.
🥳Victory for @KlimaSeniorin 🥳
@ECHR_CEDH ruled this morning: Switzerland is violating the human rights of older women, because the state is not taking the necessary steps to combat #GlobalWarming .

The @ECHR_CEDH has issued a ruling in all three climate cases.
Sofia, 19, said:
“The most important thing is that the Court has said in the Swiss women’s case that governments must cut their emissions more to protect human rights. Their win a win for everyone!”
For those of you who have not been following the @KlimaSeniorin case in the #ECHR - it’s an incredible story. 2000+ women aged 65 & older took the Swiss Govt to European Court of Human Rights demanding stronger climate action. Today they set a historic precedent & won their case!
A landmark ruling issued by @ECHR_CEDH in the @KlimaSeniorin case - the first climate change case heard before the European Court of Human Rights‼️🌍
The Court found Switzerland in violation of the ECHR for failing to implement sufficient measures to tackle #ClimateChange.

Shani Louk should have turned 23 today.
Her father last heard from his daughter when she attempted to escape the Nova Music Festival by car with her boyfriend Orion and friend Keshet on Oct 7.
The three were caught in a traffic jam where Shani and Keshet were murdered by terrorists. Orion was kidnapped into Gaza, where he remains.
Shani’s father recounts: “At 11am a friend of Shani sent me the picture of a girl in a pickup truck surrounded by terrorists. I was able to identify my daughter through the tattoos on her leg. It was horrible. My 20-year-old boy could not stop crying when he recognized his sister.”
For days they held out hope that Shani was alive until the IDF informed them that they had found a piece of Shani’s skull that she could not have survived without.
A Tel Aviv art museum hosted an exhibition of Shani’s art to mark what should have been her 23rd birthday.
May Shani’s memory forever be a blessing 💔
The diagnosis of anyone with cancer is sad. I send nothing but good wishes to King Charles. That said, children with cancer are dying every day and our government doesn’t see it as a priority. Brain cancer - the biggest killer of our children and the least funded 🧵
