@euromaximal NATO expansion did worsen relations with Moscow. But Ukraine was not close to joining in 2022. Putinâs long-held view that Ukraine is not a real country and belongs with Russia was a bigger driver of the invasion.
Europe shares one electricity market. Prices do not.
Northern Sweden: about âŹ20/MWh
Sicily: about âŹ272/MWh
Almost 14 times higher.
The problem is not only generation. Cheap northern power cannot reach the south because the grid is too weak.
âŒïž BREAKING: Jensen Huang says Dario Amodei and Sam Altman are lying by asking for more laws. Read between the lines, he said. They're asking to be released from the laws we already have. "I think that's a problem."
The existing ones already cover it. Unauthorized entry, damage liability, product liability. He pointed to the labs' own security incidents as the example. Apply those first. Don't let a doomsday narrative relieve anyone of the laws that do exist, Nvidia's CEO told CBS News.

Urgent security advisory for iOS users!
Install the latest iOS update immediately. Security researchers report that financially motivated attackers are now using a complete, in-the-wild exploit chain that can quietly steal cryptocurrency private keys and mnemonic seed phrases from iPhones.
The reported attack begins when a target is socially engineered into opening a malicious page in Safari. That page is said to abuse a memory-corruption flaw in WebKit / JavaScriptCore to gain arbitrary read/write access from JavaScript, then bypass Pointer Authentication Codes (PAC) to run native code, break out of the WebContent sandbox, and escalate to kernel/root privileges.
With that access, attackers can pull data from the device Keychain and from local crypto wallet apps.
The claimed impact range is iOS 13 through iOS 26.5; that range has not been independently confirmed in full. Until more is known, treat any unpatched device as potentially exposed and update as soon as a newer build is available. Also avoid untrusted links in Safari, especially if you keep wallet keys or seed phrases on the phone.
To believe that Bitcoin has no intrinsic value means:
1. Believing that having a decentralized, global payment and settlement network outside the conventional financial system has no value.
2. Believing that having a way to protect your purchasing power from inflation has no value.
3. Believing that being able to store your wealth without counterparty risk has no value.
4. Believing that the ability to send $5 or $50 million anywhere, anytime, with minimal fees has no value.
Yet, people say bitcoin has no utility or value.
Apple is hiring an Apple Pay strategy lead.
Preferred experience includes stablecoins, tokenized deposits, and blockchain.
The job is about evaluating new financial products, not launching one.
Apple has not yet announced a stablecoin.
The curse of discipline is that every day looks the same.
The curse of indiscipline is that every year does.

BTC is sitting at $84.3k because the options market is pinning it between two walls.
$85k is the main sell wall. Every 1% move up forces dealers to sell $122M, or about 1,450 BTC. Thatâs why price tagged $85.3k and snapped back.
$84k flipped the other way this morning. What used to be a sell zone is now a buy wall of similar size, $120M per 1% drop. Behind it sit extra bids at $83k and $82k. Real floor is still $80k.
The move from $82k was not new longs chasing. Small accounts had flipped short under $82k. When price broke, more than $500M of those shorts got liquidated and that squeeze did most of the work.
Dealers are net +$710M gamma, so they keep buying dips and selling rips. That is why the range is tight.
Above $85k the picture changes. $86k selling drops to $51M. $88k and $90k have some size, but the space in between is thin. Fridayâs $16B+ expiry also removes a large chunk of the $85k and $90k contracts, so those walls get weaker.
Setup from here:
$85k breaks â squeeze fuel still there, next real test is $88â90k
$84k fails â next supports are $83k, $82k, then $80k
Not investment advice. Levels move with the options book.
đȘđș ECB just flipped the switch on Pontes.
Banks can now settle tokenized assets in real central bank money by linking private blockchains to TARGET.
Lagarde called it the digital euro for institutions. Appia is next. Retail digital euro tests still slated for mid-2027.
A review by Swedenâs Defence Research Agency (FOI) identified 247 properties around the country with Russian owners, raising concerns among Swedish authorities and politicians that some of these properties could potentially be used for espionage, sabotage or other hostile activities.
The issue is that Sweden currently has no law that broadly allows the state to stop these purchases. The concern has been raised by SĂ€po, Swedenâs security service, which has highlighted Russian-owned properties as a potential security risk.
FOI researchers had to manually go through around 10,000 names of owners living abroad to identify the properties, and the real number could be higher because some foreign-owned properties are not captured in the registers in the same way.
There is already a concrete case on Muskö, where the Swedish Armed Forces are trying to take over a holiday home because of its proximity to a naval base. Defence Minister PÄl Jonson says intelligence gathering in Sweden has increased.
Peter Hultqvist, the Social Democratsâ defence policy spokesperson, says the concern is not limited to properties near military facilities. He argues that Russiaâs hybrid activities could involve properties being used for espionage, sabotage or attempts to undermine Swedish society.
Sweden has actually been dealing with this question for years. The first government investigation was launched in 2017, followed by another investigation, SOU 2024:84. Yet after nine years and two investigations, no bill has been introduced to give the state broader powers to prevent these purchases.
Hultqvist says the past years have not been used optimally. Jonson, meanwhile, says previous investigations did not cover enough situations and that creating robust legislation will take time.
After nine years and two government investigations, there is still no law that allows Sweden to broadly stop these purchases while the security concerns surrounding some Russian-owned properties remain ongoing.
Half true. Saudi left mBridge after finishing its planned test on 13 May 2025. That is a year old. The FT only reported it now.
SAMA says it was always the plan. Sources told the FT not to treat it as a sudden U.S. pressure play. China, Hong Kong, Thailand and the UAE are still in.
ByteDance runs two different apps. Douyin is for China. TikTok is for everyone else. TikTok was never launched there.
Douyin is not all homework. Adults still get dancing, livestreams and entertainment. For kids under 14 it is stricter: 40 minutes a day, only between 6am and 10pm, and more educational content.
So yes, the feeds are different. Especially for children. âNo stupid dancing at allâ is an exaggeration mate.
Energy and security risks pile up
France has fuel shortages at more than 1 in 10 stations, with diesel near record prices. Europe heads into winter with tighter gas supplies after Middle East disruptions.
Ukraine hit a major Moscow oil refinery in a large drone attack. North Korea fired two ballistic missiles. Cuba suffered another nationwide blackout.
Trump returned early from Camp David with no explanation. The U.S. issued new Middle East security alerts. Saudi Arabia cut some oil shipments to Europe after an attack on its East-West pipeline.
Iran is reported to be on high military alert and has warned of a broad response if struck again. The UK is telling households to keep basic emergency supplies.
Support for pro-Russian fascism is only huge in the former East Germany, not the rest.
What it took Russian tanks to enforce decades ago, has this time been done with Russian propaganda.
I saw a TikTok trader lose 5 trades in a row.
His account was down 90%.
Out of frustration, he entered another trade just to blow it completely.
Donât be that guy.
That last 10% can still bring you back to 30%.
And that small recovery can rebuild your confidence.
If youâre going to lose an account,
let it be from following your rules, not emotions.
Thatâs how you grow. Thatâs how you become better.
âAfter you took your stop, the market moved sharply in the direction of your former position.â
Here is what you need to know when that happensđ
ă»What happens after your stop does not change whether taking it was correct
ă»If you exited according to your rules, your execution was successful
ă»Taking stops according to your rules is part of your edge
No one knows how the chart will move after an exit, and you do not need to know.
Your job is simply to repeat the actions you have tested beforehand and found to be profitable over the full series.
Your edge lies in the entire system, including losses taken according to your rules, not in any single trade.
Do not let the outcome of one trade influence you.
