It’s a shame that her dad, Tom Cruise, won’t be in attendance because he believes that having any sort of connection to her will impede Scientology and could possibly cause him to become sick or injured.
He also believes that by remaining connected to her in any way, he is committing a suppressive act and is a danger to Scientology, and thus to the future of humanity.
This is all because her mom was declared a suppressive person, an enemy of Scientology, and as a result, Suri is considered PTS, a potential trouble source.
And yet — entertainment reporters and the public will just accept this sort of diabolical behavior and fawn all over him when he abandoned his daughter — with the exception of child support — many years ago.
Reporter: Isn’t there concern that this slippery slope to socialism inevitably ends up as full-blown communism?
AOC: I mean, no. I think that’s very silly. We can’t even raise the minimum wage. Do they really think communism is going to happen? No. They’re trying to scare people because they don’t want us talking about the fact that we all have a right to health care.
So they want to call everything they don’t like communist because if people actually wake up to the fact that their elected officials are screwing them over when they get here, they’re going to realize they deserve better and that health care as a right isn’t crazy. They want to call this stuff communist because they don’t want us to realize that the rest of the developed world has guaranteed health care. They want to call it communist because they don’t want you to know that Germany, Italy, the UK, Canada—everybody else—has it better than us, and we spend the most money for the worst care in the developed world.
The sitting president of the United States had to pay $5 million to a woman he raped and defamed, and not one person in his entire cult of a party is calling for his resignation.
Not one.
Do you remember when radio stations used to give away concert tickets and backstage passes? I just heard a midday radio giveaway, and now the prizes are groceries, a year of gas, or rent paid. It’s a strange reminder that survival has become the prize. That’s pretty sad.
As I was paying $8 for a pound of ground beef today, I thought to myself, “Thank god we spent millions of dollars so Donald Trump could take a nap at the NBA Finals”
I see your profile picture. That’s Johnny Cash. My hero too. Arrested seven times. Smuggled 668 amphetamines across the Mexican border in 1965. Took every drug there was and drank like I did. Cheated on his first wife. Slept with more woman than I ever did. Hit bottom in a cave in Tennessee in 1968 trying to crawl off and die. And then he got up. He got clean. He spent the rest of his life singing for prisoners and addicts and the people the country threw away because he knew he was one of them.
That was the whole point of the Man in Black. He wore it for the poor and the beaten down. He wore it for the prisoner who has long paid for his crime. He wore it for the ones who never heard a word of Jesus. He wore it for the addicted and the dying. He wore it as a standing witness that no one is past saving.
You picked his picture. You did not pick his message. Try listening to the words.
Imagine if a woman president crashed the economy and started a war with no end in sight, and her biggest, seemingly ONLY concern was building a ballroom and redecorating the White House.
Whenever l am slightly disrespected by a man, I remember my favorite Michelle Obama lore. There's a story about them dining at a restaurant when they learned the chef used to be Michelle's high school boyfriend
Barack joked,
lf you were still with him, you could have been the owner of this nice restaurant."
Michelle replied,
"No. If I were still with him, he would have been President of the United States."
And that's the energy every woman should have about her own worth.
If we all survive this shitshow, in decades to come we’ll look back and ask how the hell did an entire world allow one complete lunatic to put us all in mortal danger without someone actively stepping in to stop him.
