@daniellescharen @PhDForum @PhDVoice @AcademicChatter My new mantra (courtesy of @Ologies) is "ask smart people dumb questions". I learn through discussion so asking questions and talking through things really helped me stay curious and learn better. Grad school is training so learn as much as you can by any means possible!

@daniellescharen @PhDForum @PhDVoice @AcademicChatter During writing I used the pomodoro method (work for 25mins/break for 5 with 15min break every 2hrs) and went on walks during my breaks. Also made sure to take an hour for lunch/afternoon tea break with friends.

Rest and trust yourself. I made sure to take at least one day off and not think about work. Sometimes I couldn't take a full weekend off but I tried to take weekends as much as possible.
