Elon Musk claims that Ukraine allegedly violated Starlink's terms of use and used the system on combat drones.

As someone who was inside the process at the Ministry of Defense, I can say with certainty that this is not true.

In February of this year, whitelists were introduced. Stationary terminals could be registered by both military personnel and civilians.
But for any satellite terminal to work while on the move, it had to be added to a special list and connected to the military Starshield system. Otherwise, no satellite communication terminals in Ukraine would work.

In other words, using civilian Starlink for drone missions was technically impossible. All drone missions that required satellite communication could only be carried out using Starshield.

We are very grateful to the United States and SpaceX for access to critically important satellite communications. Ukraine did not violate the terms of use.

У часи, коли половина видатків державного бюджету фінансується за ґрантові чи кредитні кошти партнерів, проста роздача грошей всім і без будь-яких умов є черговим популістичним та найважливішим неефективним кроком.

Мінекономіки звітує про те, що на цю програму будуть спрямовані кошти західних партнерів, які не можна витрачати на війну. Імовірно ці кошти є залишками за деякими бюджетними програмами, які не встигають використати до кінця року.

У зв'язку з цим формується питання ефективності витрати цих коштів на те, щоб їх роздати кожному громадянину.

Все ж дійсно, є громадяни, які потребують фінансової допомоги, та це лише частина громадян. Метою цієї програми є підтримка населення в зимовий період, що очевидно необхідно для певної кількості громадян.

Проте, це необхідно лише для певного переліку громадян: пенсіонерів, малозабезпечених сімей, багатодітних сімей, вимушено переміщених осіб і тп.

Якщо влада вже і захотіла підтримати малозабезпечені категорії населення, то виплата чергової тисячі має відбуватися адресно. По аналогії із субсидіями. Для тих, хто дійсно цього потребує!

A Russian airstrike has hit a nine-story residential building in Kharkiv, destroying nearly an entire section of the apartment block.

Reports indicate 17 casualties, including children, with people possibly still trapped under the rubble.
