BIG CHARGE Against the Congress Leadership

A serious allegation has emerged from within the Congress itself. A party office-bearer has reportedly accused the leadership of financial impropriety linked to candidate selection in Haryana. According to the claim, nearly ₹7 crore was allegedly collected in connection with the Bawal seat, with references made to 10 Janpath.

These are not charges coming from political opponents — they are accusations from within the Congress ecosystem. The party owes the public and its own workers a clear and transparent explanation.

There is a reason the Congress continues to lose states, including Haryana. Leadership credibility matters. If ticket distribution becomes a matter of money rather than merit, grassroots workers lose faith and voters lose trust.

The allegations also raise uncomfortable questions about the functioning of leaders like Priyanka Gandhi Vadra and Sonia Gandhi. For years, Priyanka Vadra has been projected as the “silver bullet” who would revive the party’s fortunes. But if serious complaints about money collection and inaccessibility are surfacing from within the party ranks, that narrative collapses.

If leaders collect funds and then distance themselves from workers, it is not just a political failure — it is organisational decay.

The Congress must answer:
Were funds collected?
On what basis were candidates selected?
Why are such allegations repeatedly emerging from within?

Political parties cannot demand accountability from others while remaining opaque about their own functioning. Silence will only reinforce public perception that the problem is not electoral strategy — it is leadership ethics.

The people of Haryana, and indeed the country, deserve answers.

Ahmedabad police apprehended a thief fleeing a train at Ahmedabad railway station after stealing a suitcase.

The thief identified himself as Major Harshit Chaudhary of the Indian Army.

He also showed police his Indian Army ID card and attempted to deceive them. He also had an Aadhaar card in the name of Harshit Chaudhary.

When police interrogated him rigorously, he broke down and revealed his real name: Moh@mmad Shahbaz Khan.

When police searched him, they found a smartphone in his possession. Upon examining the phone, they found him in compromising positions with over 20 Hindu girls.

Police were shocked.

He then told police that he had lured over 20 Hindu girls on various matrimonial sites by posing as an Indian Army Major, promising to marry them, and extorting large sums of money from them. If anyone refused to pay, he threatened to blackmail them by showing videos of them.

So far, police have identified girls from Ahmedabad, Rajkot, Bengaluru, Uttar Pradesh, and Bechraji who have given information to the police. They have expressed their willingness to cooperate.

The police are currently investigating further and may uncover even more dangerous revelations.
