Hey y'all
Recently there has been some drama regarding the #SPNNJ panel, more specifically regarding what @JensenAckles said, we're here to clear stuff up because we've seen a lot of lies being spread and people taking what he said out of context.
Jensen was speaking to a military veteran that was in the audience, he was a big dude, I'd estimate about 6'8, he was sharing on how they received the SPN series while being overseas and that he watched the whole thing over there.
Jensen noticed that the guy was a big dude so he said "That's exactly the kind of soldier I want America sending over there", that was taken out of context severely. He wasn't supporting war, he wasn't saying to send them, he was simply complimenting the dude and thanking him for his service as he did the same for the dude's wife who is a firefighter.
All of this hate is unjustified, it was an act of compassion with basic human decency to acknowledge what that man did to protect people while putting his own life on the line.
Context is very important, almost everything nowadays can be taken out of context very easily, do not blindly believe everything you see on the internet as it could easily be taken out of context.
We will not stand for this unjustified hate, any account spreading such hate will be blocked and removed from our communities, I'd recommend y'all do the same.
@JensenAckles & @jarpad are such wonderful, genuine, caring, and supportive people. They do so much for communities and charities, and still do these conventions around the world after so many years the show hasn't been on air. That type of dedication shows exactly how awesome they are; They deserve more support.
This is something a lot of people should learn from.
Kind regards,
#SPNFamily
