Sri Lanka’s Official Poverty Line for April 2026 has been set at Rs. 17,117 per person per month, according to the Department of Census and Statistics. Colombo recorded the highest cost of basic needs at Rs. 18,461, while Monaragala was the lowest at Rs. 16,367. The poverty line, revised monthly to reflect inflation and cost‑of‑living changes, is based on the 2012/13 Household Income and Expenditure Survey and adjusted using the National Consumer Price Index.

@DubaiPoliceHQ her to get a letter from the company for the stolen mobile phone. What about the other important items like her Emirates ID and bank cards? Is this really how the process works? Not sure why they show negligence? The thief even tried to use the card as well, luckily blocked it.

Dear @BimalRathnayake sir, just repairing the old buses is not enough. It has to be fully repaired from inside to outside. specially when it rains passengers can't even sit on seats they are so wet and water leaking from the roof, is this how good the bus repair is being done?
