Posting this because I couldn’t find any intel about it and in hopes it helps others - 45-60 min delays to get a taxi or Uber / Lyft from LAX LAX-IT pickup area due to construction (I think). Plenty of cars coming in but not able to leave. Sitting for 15 mins now. @flyLAXairport

@ADoricko I would spend focused time up front with vocab/grammar textbooks just to learn basic words and sentence structure. Then use an AI chat service (I like languatalk) to practice conversing and receive real time feedback. Immersive language schools work well but less convenient

@kscottz @sfstandard He wouldn’t be able to sell the house with a nonpaying tenant. He can’t go through the courts because of the eviction moratorium in place. You can’t make the claim that he assumed this risk because the risk did not exist (and shouldn’t now!) when he bought the property.

@nealkhosla My understanding is that long covid may be an inflammation/autoimmune-related. When I was getting over post covid symptoms, natural anti-inflammatories like fish oil and turmeric supplements seemed to help.

@PeterDiamandis @eightsleep I’ve used both Eight Sleep and Chillipad. Eight Sleep is obviously higher end but imo cools only marginally better / more evenly. I didn’t find the HRV and tracking useful as I already wear a sleep tracker. I stuck with the Chillipad and saved $1500 (maybe more now)
