Over the past couple of weeks, STF/CID @WBPolice has without proper notice and in violation of basic legal safeguards, abruptly summoned or randomly picked up nearly 25 people connected to my office or associated with me all in the name of interrogation.

They are being intimidated, threatened and pressured to give false statements against me. Phones are being tapped and even family members including women are being harassed and threatened.

This is political intimidation at its worst. A government whose own Chief Minister was caught on camera allegedly taking bribes, with multiple CBI cases hanging over him, is now using state agencies to target me.

Do what you can. I will not bow down till my last breath.

Bengal is witnessing the complete normalisation of violence under @BJP4India’s GOONDA RAJ.

In the early hours of this morning, an individual arrived outside my family’s residence, stopped his bike and repeatedly hurled a large stone at my home, shattering the first floor windows.

THIS IS NOT MERELY A COLLAPSE OF LAW AND ORDER. THIS IS THE DANGEROUS INSTITUTIONALISATION OF VIOLENCE.

Where was the police? Under whose instructions did this miscreant carry out such a brazen attack and walk away with complete impunity?

This is the terrifying reality of Bengal today: A regime that has normalised violence, empowered hooligans and created an atmosphere where those indulging in criminal acts operate with absolute confidence because they believe the State will protect them.

Will the newly passed West Bengal Public Safety and Control of Anti Social Activities Bill, 2026 be applied to BJP backed criminals as well?

Shocked, disturbed, and deeply concerned by what Bengal is being reduced to.

কাল যাদবপুর সহ রাজ্যের বিভিন্ন প্রান্তে হকার উচ্ছেদের নামে গরিব মানুষদের উপর বুলডোজার চালানোর তীব্র প্রতিবাদ করছি।

রাজ‍্যে নতুন সরকার আসার পরে এটাই কি উন্নয়নের মডেল?

রাজ‍্য বা দেশের অর্থনৈতিক বিষয়ে আলোচনা নিশ্চয়ই প্রয়োজন কারণ যা হাঁড়ির হাল কিন্তু সেটা আর্থ-সামাজিক হতে হবে। সমাজকে অস্বীকার করে অর্থনীতি কাঁঠালের আমসত্ত্ব ছাড়া কিছু নয়।

আর সরকারের বিরুদ্ধে কিছু বললেই আ‍্যরেস্ট বা পুলিশি নির্যাতন কিন্তু গনতন্ত্রের পক্ষে অশনি সংকেত।

পরিশেষে যারা আগে রাম পরে বামের তত্ত্ব ভেবেছিলেন তারা নিশ্চয়ই উত্তাপ অনুভব করছেন।

সৃজন সহ যে সমস্ত মানুষ আহত হয়েছেন বা গ্রেফতার হয়েছেন তাদের পাশে আছি।

এই লড়াই সকলের লড়াই।

Tarun Basu Roy has been just now beaten up & not being allowed to go to either hospital or police station.

He is from Rishra GP, booth no 40 & was @AITCofficial polling agent.

After getting this information I have informed to concerned police station & also MLA of Serampore Sri Bhaskar Bhattacharya over WhatsApp.

People may have difference of political ideology but they should not be physically heckled.

Requesting @SuvenduWB @SamikBJP to take note please.
