My two lazy theories on this would be:

1. Religion is trending in tech now, and in a big way post-COVID. Thiel was early and right, again.

2. "Religious attendance" is a social gathering. Ideas like AI probably diffuse much faster in crowds that meet more than once a week.

In early 2025, Nokia completed its acquisition of Infinera which strengthened its data center optical footprint and is now resulting in favored vendor status for Nvidia’s AI-RAN push.
