@AgrwlShivam@joelbasson@forgebitz Rivierenbuurt is nice to live in, but saying it looks better than Java Eiland is atrocious. It's kilometers of almost identical Soviet looking building blocks throughout the Rooseveltlaan. They all look like this one in the photo.
@tgluemer An entry level Toyota Aygo with regular parking sensors would've caught this easily. You can actually buy a used one just with the repair bill ๐
@joelbasson@forgebitz New build areas in the Zeeburgereiland are full of children, with a huge skate park + playground in the middle. Java Eiland is full of children as well, but guess what? Children prefer the Bogortuin (proper green area) vs the street - no green in Rivierenbuurt, then street it is
@levelsio This is a very sad fact of the Netherlands. The margarine propaganda is what really gets me. There's great quality actual butter in NL, which go for that crap?!
@KyleMau I have 4-5 gyms within 10 minutes walking distance - and probably 20+ within 10 minutes biking distance. What sort of low quality engagement bait is this?
(which apparently worked, since I replied)
fast-code-embed 0.1.2 is out - now with Python support!ย ๐๐
Semantic search base: pretrained nomic-embed-code vectors + TF-IDF. No GPU, no API keys, no model download.
pip install fast-code-embed

After years of not working on open source, I shipped fast-code-embed. ๐
A local C library w/ Java/JNI bindings for semantic code search (~1ms speed) that runs without GPUs or APIs.
Try it & let me know where it breaks: https://t.co/DEA6o0wzdj ๐ ๏ธ #opensource#AI#buildinpublic
@Guigz75116 Houses are built to get rid of the heat - and often not even let it in at all. This + AC for everyone who can afford it. In Europe houses are built to retain heat and AC is frowned upon.
Traditional APUs are restricted in Europe due to pollution (i.e. fuel based ones). But airlines can use electric ones. Or just run the main engines after boarding is completed - but this all costs money. Which they want to save - and greenwash it.
@leo_linsky Whatever is that you're doing reflects exactly my personal experience. MiMo 2.5 somehow tops off this class of model but no one else seems to be recognizing it.
If Steve Jobs were still alive, he would have the moral authority to face and maybe even to solve this problem. But I doubt anyone in the phone business now does.
