@SwanseaSwifts Planning looking for biodiversity things but the house had no garden at all it occupied the whole site as an end of terrace but room for bird and/or bat boxes
@dingodann1@GOWEROS1 They did this for a week ❤️ where the one is clinging to the wall by the purlin they’ve made an almost complete nest this week . The nest we put up is just behind the Chimmney at the top taken over by sparrows 🤦♀️
Anaphalis triplinervis ‘Sommerschnee’ one of my new favourite plants lovely silvery foliage on a small clump forming mound. Papery white everlasting type flowers in petite clusters all over it. Flowers July to August easy to propagate by either division or cuttings.
This has happened a few times this week assuming they are checking out potential nesting sites for next year? 2 have started making a nest under the purling there now lovely to see so many!
@coileyparjley Richard Cave from Melcourt popped in and was v helpful he suggested the capillary matting under the mypex as there’s no mechanised watering etc other people don’t bother with it at all 🤦♀️ minefield !
