I've always loved #botanicillustration. It's been a while since I got my brushes out so badly out of practise but a joy to take time out to study such a pretty hellebore flower and get to know it intimately. Thank you @macplants for the beautiful #plant !
Gentiana ‘Balmoral’ the first of our “autumn” gentian cultivars to flower. Always incredibly early and bred here at Macplants. Recently award an AGM by the RHS too!

Autumn gentians are now in flower and The Caley is one of the very best. Bred by Iam McNaughton of Macplants. For success keep moist in the summer and grow in slightly acidic, free draining compost. @TheCaley@macplants @RHSBloom #ourbloom@ScottishRockGC#northberwick
After a bit of a delay due to lockdown we’re catching up with all@our planting. So it was a 4:30am start today to lay out hundreds of lovely perennials in this Edinburgh garden. #planting#gardendesign#Edinburgh
Erigeron ‘Quakeress’ - a plant I bought from @macplants - only its second year but performing well so far. Lovely lilac flowers, around 50cm in height and been flowering for weeks.
