@DisneyBeat101 Not to even mention the original Disney Channel sitcoms made after 2005😅😢

[nimr1230 @nimr1230]

@DisneyBeat101 The Suite Life of Zack & Cody, which premiered in 2005, is way better!!! I’m convinced it’s not just my bias!!! What on earth is going on with everything right now?😂😅

[nimr1230 @nimr1230]

@DisneyBeat101 Netflix’s Kids & Family section used to have a few sitcoms. I’ve recently watched No Good Nick and Prince of Peoria, both of which came out back in 2018 and 2019. Compared to the original sitcoms from Disney Channel, I personally don’t think they hold up.

@DisneyBeat101 Things feel so chaotic right now. Why did they sign a licensing deal with Netflix again?😂

Synopsis for Messi and the Giants. Arriving on Disney+ (globally) and Disney Channel in the United States in Summer 2027!

“Messi follows a 12-year-old named Leo who becomes trapped in an alternate reality ruled by giants. To get home, he must compete in high-stakes, soccer-like battles using powerful “orbs,” defeat legendary giants, and restore the fractured realms of “Iko”. Unlike everyone else, Leo can’t use the world’s code powers to supercharge his game, so he relies on his real strengths — skill, teamwork and determination — turning the story into an underdog adventure about courage, perseverance and believing in yourself.”

@ladybowbaby Going back to 2010‑2015 would be the good old days.

[nimr1230 @nimr1230]

@maurici77655584 Even though Bunk’d isn’t all that great, I still want sitcoms to keep airing!

Early stage conversations for a Mary Poppins television series are reportedly taking place at Disney.

Instead of taking cues from the 1960s original film, this adaptation is set to lean more into the source material of the books. Tom Winchester, series developer and producer, is reportedly talking with top level showrunners to lead the project.

The project doesn’t need Disney’s buy-in from a rights perspective, but there’s hope that given Disney’s history with the property that the company would agree to join in. No agreement has been made, pitches are still going on.

@maurici77655584 It feels so hard to get new sitcoms these days!😭

[nimr1230 @nimr1230]

@maurici77655584 Can’t wait for tomorrow’s premiere of Coven Academy. It would be even better if we got a new sitcom. I’ve been waiting for so long.
